libfile-path-tiny-perl software package provides recursive version of mkdir() and rmdir(), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libfile-path-tiny-perl
libfile-path-tiny-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libfile-path-tiny-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libfile-path-tiny-perl *
You will get with libfile-path-tiny-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
